I heard the bells on Solstice morn
Their ancient melodies ring on
And wild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on Earth, good will to all
I grieved that we have lost so much
Patriarchy took too much
It forced along the broken song
Of war on Earth, good will to none
In despair, I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth, I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on Earth, good will to all
Then pealed the bells, more loud and deep She is not dead, nor does She sleep
We'll right all wrongs and sing Her songs
