Jungian Shadow Self

Because the Crow and Raven are black, and because birds are often associated with soul or spirit in mythology, I like to think of Raven (using the capital to denote the archetypal Raven) as symbolic of the human shadow. More precisely, Raven represents the role of the personal shadow as a wisdom figure.
The Shadow speaks to you with Knowledge and Wisdom that it has learned in Life. It has traveled through the darkness with you and it Carries it for you. But the darkness is now transformed to All the Shades of Grey. All the Understanding of your suffering has been transformed to Strength Within. Your Shadow is Assertive . And It Has the form of Intuition that sees others for who they really are. This is what enables us to Defend ourselves and others we Love.
It Carries Integrity and Strength. It Shadows with the Assertive Warrior Wolf.
