About the artist:
Canada's foremost medalist, Dora was born in Hungary in 1913 and came to Canada in 1948. Her most public work is the 1990 effigy of Queen Elizabeth which appears on all Canadian coins from (1990-2003). Among many important works, in 2002, she was commissioned to make a commemorative medal for His Holiness Pope John Paul II's visit to Toronto.
**Norman Percevel Rockwell** (February 3, 1894 – November 8, 1978) was an American painter and illustrator. His works have a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of the country's culture. Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life he created for "The Saturday Evening Post" magazine over nearly five decades.
