My Water Colour Painting..

I love these creatures, they are so graceful & when I went to the Wellington Zoo a year ago now I so wanted to get the hands on experience with the Cheetah.

But I was gutted as I couldn't afford it at the time it was NZ$159.00 each for only 30mins,

If I had that I would have jumped on it cos you only get one chance at a experience like that, I was surprised, they are larger than I originally thought...I got the impression looking at photo's & in movies they were like the size of a labrador dog,but no they are taller & longer..

I also loved the Savannah Seval cat & woah are they also beautiful..

So I decided to take photo's while there & then gain others online from Google search later and at some point paint from these instead..See these photo's I took of the Cheetah Exhibit at the Wellington Zoo below ...

Just last night I finally completed my water colour painting of them, gees it took ages, must admit I wasn't working on it fully that often, I was just adding a bit here and there as I dont have much time to paint these days,too much going on,this one has to try and make time lol ...But I'm happy with it just as it is..I now have to find a cool frame to put it in to do it justice...
