*Reading is putting oneself on permanent alert against any form of oppression, tyranny, it is shielding oneself against the manipulation of those who want us to believe that living between bars is living in safety.
Literature makes you desire another life, that real life cannot give you, and therefore forges critical minds, in love with ideals, while the extraordinary audiovisual machinery is there to amuse us and create passive and conformist subjects. A world without literature would be a world without insolence. A world of automatons....
