Raindrops cannot fall on their own. Nor can snowflakes.
Raindrops require something special.
A cheek to roll down.
No no no. OK. I’m kidding...
But seriously—all raindrops, all snowflakes, all precipitation, have a mineral at the center; it can be a dust particle, a piece of sand, literally any ground object.
This is what the water coalesces around allowing it to have mass to break off from the cloud and fall from.
So here comes the Rain...
