I have always had a interest in the landscape that surrounds us, and have spent countless hours out in the forest. This project gave me a opportunity to get out into the woodland again and explore the economical impact that our they play. The short film was shot within the highland region, and only in forests that are currently sustainably managed. I was able to take advantage of the 240fps ability of the Sony FS5 as well to really get a feel for the time that these forests take to grow. The film was edited in Premier, with the roto work for text completed in After Effects, prior to a final grade being delivered with Lumetri.
