"BEING A FATHER..."
Written by Alejandro Ojeda Pérez, male widwife, Spain.

"Being a father is much more than having a child.

Being a father is reuniting with the baby that you were, and reliving the pure innocence of the human being.

Being a father is to appreciate what your parents have done for you.

Being a father is to learn that every evolution that is worthwhile is done slowly and continuously.

Being a father is understanding that love is much more than what can be expressed in words.

Being a father is sacrificing a lot no matter what you lose, because you always win.

Being a father is to launch yourself into the abyss and be born in the fall much stronger, and with wings.

Being a father is an offering of the most valuable thing we have, time, to someone who is more important than everything else.

Being a father is feeling vulnerable, being afraid, and confirming that the obstacle does not matter anymore because you have no choice but to do it well, and in that moment discover that you can do it with everything that comes.

Being a father is looking into the eyes of life and smile at it and to learn that the world is a mirror that reflects what you give to it.

Being a father is the unconditional surrender that conditions the rest of your life, filling it with color, it is the chain that liberates your mind and your soul.

Being a father is to believe you are a teacher and that is learning more than ever, is enrolling yourself in the most prestigious university, where you forget the superfluous and the world is reduced to the moment you look at it.

Being a father is waiting for one thing and finding another, and understanding that life can surprise you exceeding your expectations and anything you can imagine.

Being a father is the road that has no map, the path of no return that transforms you, the adventure that you know with certainty will change you, the magical starting point of the rest of your existence.

Being a father is, in short, a personal gift that you can only understand when you open it, surprising for the unrepeatable, fascinating for the indescribable.

Being a father is the love living in you. "
