THE HALLOWEEN STARLIGHT BALL 12270491868?profile=RESIZE_180x180

On the eve of the day, of the thinning of the veil
The Fairies fly, over hill and dale
To meet in the halls, of the Old Oak Stump
On this spooky night, when things go bump
Some will travel, in pumpkin carriages drawn
By mice who faithfully wait outside, til the early morn
Once inside they celebrate, their ancestors who come to call
Floating down in the moonlight, and flittering through the walls
As all are gathered, both ancient and young
In the light of the stars, and Jack -O- Lanterns, hung
At midnight, the Dance Of The Pumpkins begins
Where all is a frenzy, as they fly and spin
And above them little gourds, lit with candle light
Float through the hall, burning bright
Then the feasting begins, in the wee hours
With syllabubs and souffles, stacked on the tables in towers
Followed by pumpkin wine, from last years crop
Fuelling the dance, it seems they'll never stop
But when the moon's glow wanes, stop they must
For now they are all out, of Fairy dust
And soon the preparations will commence, for the Christmas Starlight Ball
When the North Pole Elves arrive, and come to call
