Blessed Lughnasadh & Blessed Imbolc to All Celebrating in Northern & Southern Hemispheres! Bright Blessings!
The First Harvest, call it Lughnasadh (there’s different spellings) or Lammas, is a liminal time when the lengthening moon time starts to be noticeable. Hekate, of course, abides in the spaces between, in the turns of The Wheel. This is such a special time for me personally. I find myself renewed through my garden and wild woods. I’m crafting, refinishing, and working on that mountainous woodpile. Samhain is coming, and the hearth fire will need special logs.
Make it yourself: First Harvest spell candles for plentiful crops, whatever they may be. Hollow out corn cobs, make beeswax rolled candles from sheets. Tuck in botanicals aligned with your intention.
May your harvest be bountiful and Hail Hekate
