Singing with the drum is a remembering. A calling across time, weaving our voices with the echoes of those who walked before us. With every beat, we awaken the wisdom held in our bones, the memory carried in our blood.
The drum speaks, and our voices rise to meet it— a bridge between worlds, between now and the timeless. This is ancient medicine, a song that does not fade, a prayer that vibrates through the marrow of our being.
When we sing with the drum, we do not sing alone. Our ancestors sing with us. Their strength moves through our breath, their knowing hums in our tones. We sing, and they answer. We sing, and we remember.
Singing with the drum has been and continues to be a place of such profound learning and exploration for me, for my relationship with my voice and the ancestors.
If this calls to you, join me for my online voice workshop on March 29-30, where one of things we will explore is the power of singing with the drum, ancestral connection, and the deep wisdom of our voices.
