Two days from now will be the most sacred and holy day of the Buddhist year. It is the full moon day of Saga Dawa when Shakyamuni Buddha was born and became enlightened. Our actions of behavior, speech, and mind will be astronomically increased. This means the consequences of our actions will be multiplied greatly, based on whether our actions were positive, negative, or neutral. This is our chance, in two days, that happens only once every year, to accumulate massive amounts of merit. Merit opens the doors of our mind to access gnosis, the nonconceptual realization of emptiness. This is the foundation for accessing our subtlest mind of luminosity, sometimes translated as clear light. By meditating on this subtlest mind of luminosity repeatedly, we will access our subtlest body, the illusory body. Repeated meditation will bring these two into their natural state of unity. At that point in our practice, enlightenment is very close! Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice! Emaho!
