SOME THINGS WE CAN DO: Plant community food gardens (with flowers for butterflies and bees), Help your elderly neighbors, Organize local pot-luck gatherings and picnics, Play music in parks with others, Volunteer to help those who are suffering most, Learn how to build and repair things, Whatever your skills are teach them and offer to share (for free), Create a local network that brings people from different faiths together, Join actions that help to raise awareness, Connect with local artists to create a mural that shows the interdependence and unity of everything in our universe, Do ALL that you do with a heart that is guided by deep gratitude and love, etc...
There's not much we can do individually to influence global decision-making and politics, but the list of things we can do locally to help build self-reliance and regenerate COMMUNITY is endless.
And as millions and billions of us do these things, we WILL influence global decision-making and politics, our LOVE guided actions will ripple out and transform the world, one community at a time...
