Ingredients :

300 gr. All-purpose flour.

70 gr. Of shortening.

1 Glass. Of milk.

1 Large sp. of white sugar.

1 large sp. of baking powder.

1 small sp. of salt.

Instructions:

I started by setting the oven to 425 degrees F = 220 degrees C to preheat it.

I whisk together the flour, baking powder, the spoonful of salt and the sugar in a large mixing bowl.

I cut the shortening until it looked like a coarse meal in the mix.

After that I added the milk and stirred the batter until it started to pull away from the rim of the bowl.

I turn out and knead between 15 to 20 times on a floured board.

And, I patted the dough or cut it to 1 inch wide.

Then I used a wide cutter or a juice glass dipped in flour and removed the cookies.

And I repeated until I used all the dough, then I took off the excess flour and put it on an ungreased baking sheet with the cookies.

I baked in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, once the edges started to tan I removed it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

ENJOY!!
